Pampered Baldwin 7' semi-concert grand piano with satin ebony finish. Leon Fleisher's studio piano during the 1993 Tanglewood Season and subsequently purchased by a professional classical pianist. Diligently maintained and enhanced by a humidifier/dehumidifier system. Terrific sound. Made in the United States (NOT China) by Baldwin in 1993.

The Baldwin SF10 is highly respected by classical and jazz pianists with a reputation rivaling the Steinway B’s. The SF10 is recognized for its powerful tone. Its responsive action provides great control over volume and tone. Tone and action set this instrument apart: a true musician’s piano.

Dampp-Chaser humidifier/dehumidifier system and artist’s bench included.

MSRP for a new SF10 on Baldwin’s site: $76,500

From Baldwin’s web site:
Impeccable construction and gorgeous tone at your fingertips...The SF10 Artist Grand[’s]…soundboard is made of the finest quarter-sawn spruce available so that you can enjoy wood with a tighter grain pattern and improved uniformity for exceptional tonal characteristics. The piano’s sharp keys are made from genuine African ebony wood with an added radius for a superior feel…while its superior action provides faster key repetition rates, in addition to an increase in dynamic tonal range. The three pedals are traditional — soft, sustain and sustenuto…and the fallboard utilizes a pneumatic, slow-close mechanism design.
